Brief History

Dr. Boadi is an enthusiastic young man who joined the Department of Social Forestry, Faculty of Forest Resources Technology, as a lecturer since 2013. His area of expertise is Agroforestry with particular emphasis on the integration and utilization of Non-Timber Forest Products in tree based systems; as well as soil fertility and productivity management in land use systems. He obtained his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Agroforestry at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology, Kumasi, Ghana

Major Responsibilities

My major responsibilities include teaching, research and the provisions of services that could benefit society as a whole. Aside these, I tutor a number of students serving as their academic advisor and seeing to their welfare.

Research Interests

My research interests include on the assessing the sustainable harvesting or exploitation of wild sourced NTFPs or underutilized plant species, their cultivation and management in tree based systems. Research areas of keen interests also include information on their;

  • Ecology
  • Domestication and integration into land use systems
  • Growth effects on soil physicochemical properties
  • Potential incomes that could be generated through their exploitation
